Almost a year has passed since we unexpectedly lost our very dear friend, Zai, due to undiagnosed cardiomyopathy. 

Zai was an incredibly beautiful soul with an infectious personality. He brought an enormous amount of joy to the lives of those around him and it has been a devastating loss to anyone who knew him. 

I have decided to run the Cardiff Half Marathon in honour of Zai and will be raising money for Cardiomyopathy UK, a charity who offer support to those who are living with this condition. I know The General (Zai) will be cheering me on and I’ll be sure to play some of our favourite disco tunes to get me through ❤️
